Last Sunday, our family went to Friends of Mine in Richmond for brunch.
Originally planning to eat at Top Paddock, the long wait was too much for our rush (we had work that afternoon)! So past another long wait, Pillar of Salt, we headed to Friends of Mine. And we weren't disappointed.
It has such a great store front and interior, and ultimately, friendly staff.
Yes, friendly staff at Friends of Mine.
Ironic.
Ironic.
Whilst pondering over the menu for god knows how long, we finally decided upon our meal. And of course, they were the same - smashed avocado w/ thyme buttered mushrooms, marinated feta + torn basil on
toasted five grain bread and a poached egg.
toasted five grain bread and a poached egg.
For drinks, Stephanie ordered a berry ‘noice’ banana Smoothie (berries, banana + Jocks vanilla ice-cream) while Olivia ordered a Pretty Pink juice (watermelon, apple and mint).
Overall, the meal was absolutely delicious, and probably one of the best avocado on toast we have ever had. Despite being a traditional brunch meal, it is always a winner. It can never fail. Also, the drinks were absolutely refreshing and a great addition.
