Shrinking Women.

Lily Myers states that: "We all learned it from each other, the way each generation taught the next how to knit." Her poem, Shrinking Women, won Best Love Poem at the 2013 College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational earlier this year.

In her captivating performance, Myers describes the world in which women live in - a world loomed by the large, loud men. While using shrinking as a metaphor for the inferiority of women, Myers depicts the pressures felt by women. Rather than being strong, women are seen as weak.
And that's not cool.
